finals are over...and life is good

thursday: after finals, i played tennis with brandon at braemar...very much fun he kicked my ass tho lol

friday: bday party, lotta fun. saw in good company which was really cute, but i'm insanely jealous of scarlett johanson because she's gorgeous

saturday: went snowboarding for the first time this season, ooo hellzzz yeaaa.....i went to the black for the first time, i'm so proud i actually made it down the mountain alrite, unlike my dad which was the funniest thing he slid down on his butt the whole way down (funniest moment of the day). the parts where i died was the moguls, but i actually jumped it was cool, more than once too. but now i'm insanely sore...cuz i fell like a thousand times and in weird positions too, so now i'm dead. but its all good

sunday: recovery day. me and my dad were suppose to play golf, but didn't really work out since neither of us cud move, so we didn't do shit. woke up at 11:30 (not that bad) watched tv the whole day, but i can never catch the beginning of a movie and finish it. the only movie that i saw completetly the whole day i was the haunting...i used to think that movie was scary but it really isn't. i also saw parts of alien (1, 2, or 3 don't really kno)...but thats a funny movie.

I have three points to make because i'm feeling philosophical...somewhat

Why does somebody up there insist on making life difficult and watching us as we squirm?

Do you ever have one of those nites, when you feel like pouring out your heart and soul? well those nights are the nights that you should always take advantage of, because those nights are the only nights that you'll have the guts to say whatever you think and feel.

I don't understand why people fear death. Death should not be a thing to be scared of, its more like a gift that ends all the pain in your life...it puts you at peace, because think...if you were dead you wouldn't have to worry about disease, friends, love, loss of something loved, eating, appearence, grades, money, or being sucked in by something horrible that you wished never to become.

And those are my points of the evening...wow i'm such a loser its amazing.

Joyous Christmas Moments

Make sure you spend the time with the ones that you love the most that you can and live each moment like it is your last. Don't take for granted what you have, and never let the ones that mean the most to you go away.

Christmas is suppose to be a time of joy and the celebration of birth (as far as i know) and that times like this you are not suppose to think of dark moments or of the death that may come in any moment in time. But obviously this Christmas is different from others, but not my much just by late night atmosphere. Here is why i say what i say above...when me and my dad leave to go home from my cousins at around midnight, my dad remembers the Christmas cards that I left at my cousins. My dad suddenly goes into this whole speech about how i barely get to see him and that in any moment he could die, and that i can't take for granted the time that i have with him. I didn't understand the point of this conversation, because i know that he is only 52 years old and nowhere near death healthwise (only a bit of a high bloodpressure but thats it). He then goes into how he could die just like my grandmother did (which was sudden and unexpected heart attack) and how that someday that same thing might happen to him. It was very uneasy and uncomfortable car ride. Once we pass the subject he starts talking about his pervious tenants that he kicked out a month ago, saying that they're now in jail because they stole account information from people online, and how the secret service came and interviewed him and asked for information on them. So...tonight was overall and pretty dark Christmas Eve i would say. But there is always tomorrow, rite?

For some reason whenever I'm at my dads the atmosphere of everything seems to grow darker and everything seems to show on the negative side and i always feel trapped and isolated. I don't understand, its nothing that my dad does or anybody does...its just the feeling of....disappearing.

i just got back from china! very much fun

wow, the clock inside my head is really screwed up. but its really cool cuz i was in china on the 25th then when i came to LA it was still the 25th, when it was the 26th in China. so i guess i got to redo that day over, ya no what i mean? lol. i hate time adjustments and 14 hour flights. within a span of 8 days i've gone on 5 different planes, and that just gets old real fast specially the damn airplane food...eeww

china was cool tho, we got to go everywhere (Beijing, Xi An, Shanghai) and went to the summer palace, forbidden city, tien men square, the great wall, terikada warriors (or however u spell it), chinese gardens, and stuff like that. everything there was so cheap it was amazing! and bargaining is the best part (even tho i got tired of it the last day but w.e)

well i better go or else i won't sleep until tomorrow afternoon (ughh damn time zones)

friday: china meeting for people who are going during the summer

saturday: host student thing, tennis, and then watched van helsing

sunday: Mother's Day brunch (my god i ate like a pig, but the food was sooo good+dessert was even better), went to the beach by myself (i'm sooo proud, i didnt' get run over by a car on pch)

me and farah played doubles won 8-1 pretty good, but we shouldn't have let them have a game lol o well

i think evey1 on the team won, it was pretty fun, and it was pretty funny that travis gave us the "serious" speech that it was gonna be hard when it was one of the easiest teams we played. o well, it was fun (even tho i had to chase farah everywhere to get stupid powerade from her after the match...)
